My name is Phil Trietsch. I am an InterNACHI® Certified Professional Inspector CPI®. All InterNACHI-Certified Professional Inspectors CPI® are required to pass an Inspector Exam, follow a comprehensive Standards of Practice, abide by a strict Code of Ethics, and take accredited Continuing Education courses each year in order to maintain their membership in good standing.

  • The Texas Real Estate Commission is the regulatory authority for licensing and regulation of home inspectors in the State of Texas.

  • TREC sets the educational and testing requirements for licensure and requires continuing education every two years to maintain licensure.

Our inspectors are Certified Professional Inspectors CPI® trained by InterNACHI—the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (www.NACHI.org)—which is the world's largest nonprofit association of residential and commercial property inspectors that provides education, training, and certification.

 

All InterNACHI-Certified Professional Inspectors CPI® are required to pass an Inspector Exam, follow a comprehensive Standards of Practice, abide by a strict Code of Ethics, and take accredited Continuing Education courses each year in order to maintain their membership in good standing. 

 

In order to become certified, our inspectors were required to take inspection courses related to the interior and exterior of the home, including the common and major areas of concern for home buyers, such as the foundation, heating and cooling, roof, plumbing, and electrical systems. Our inspectors are graduates of the InterNACHI® School, the world's only home inspector college that offers the nationally-accredited Home Inspector Certificate Program.

Buying a home is typically the biggest investment you will ever make, so it's important to get a home inspection because the inspector can find and document defects that may or may not be evident to you.  Such defects can range from simple replacements or repairs to severe damage or safety and health concerns.

My wife and I live in Wimberley, TX. We love this "Little bit of Heaven" in the Texas Hill Country and it allows me to serve the Austin, San Antonio and surrounding areas. As a former real estate broker, remodeling contractor, and building/energy efficiency advocate, I offer a unique and practical perspective to the inspections I provide for my clients. I enjoy sharing my experience and knowledge because I believe that trusted information leads to better decisions.
